GEODIS launches a recruitment campaign targeting young people

GEODIS is renewing its commitment to the younger generation by opening up professional opportunities for them in all its lines of business. Internships, work/study contracts, international volunteer placements and first jobs are listed on the JUMP’IN platform, which is entirely dedicated to hiring young people aged between 18 and 28.

GEODIS gave first jobs to some 600 young people in France in 2021 (375 of them on permanent contracts), along with 1,600 young people in the United States, 360 in Mexico and 41 in Germany.

In 2022, GEODIS is looking for more than 800 work/study students and interns, particularly in France, Germany and the United States. “In France, this represents more than 300 opportunities for all young people who are starting or completing a professional training course,” said the Executive Vice President Group Human Resources, Mario Ceccon.

The Group is also offering around ten international opportunities in Europe, North Africa, Asia and the United States through a new V.I.E. (Volunteer for International Experience) program.

Mario Ceccon added: “Our sector may not always be the best-known, but it is one that is hiring and that encompasses a wide range of professions which have evolved thanks to innovation and technology. It is a sector that offers young people real career opportunities.”

All our offers can be viewed on https://jumpin.geodis.com/, where young people are encouraged to upload their CVs.
