GEODIS joins the environmental organization Clean Cargo Working Group
GEODIS reinforces its Corporate Social Responsibility policy by joining Clean Cargo Working Group (CCGW). Its members, global leaders in marine container transport, create and use practical tools for measuring, evaluating and reporting the environmental impacts of global goods transport. From 9th to 11th of June, GEODIS has participated to the bi-annual work session of CCGW in Rotterdam.
By taking part to this organization, GEODIS joins a powerful global network of member companies, peers and stakeholders, all focused on creating viable sustainability solutions in marine container transport.
Along with all operators in the international transport industry, GEODIS constantly endeavors to reduce its carbon footprint and limit its greenhouse gas emissions. The Group is committed to developing alternative low-carbon transport solutions and is one of the sector’s leading specialists in this area.
In Rotterdam, GEODIS has met about 50 members of CCGW to exchange about sustainable responsibility in the sector. Participants continuously work on methods to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.
