Dear Valued Customer,
As you may be aware, CMA CGM has been victim of a cyber-attack and has seen its IT systems impacted. According to them, the attack has forced them to shut down their systems which are since being gradually restored.
At this point in time, GEODIS is able to maintain full communications with CMA. Your bookings and shipping instructions continue to be managed through a highly secured connection from our side. However, please be aware that we might experience delays in receiving booking and loading confirmation from the carrier. The same might apply for transportation milestone information. Nevertheless, as far as we can see today, your shipments will continue to be processed without impact on the expected lead-time.
Please note that CMA CGM announced that, for the time being, no hazardous cargo will be accepted by the carrier.
GEODIS is monitoring the situation closely and remains in close contact with the CMA CGM management. Please rest assured that we are doing our utmost to ensure your shipments will be processed in due time, and we will keep you inform about relevant updates.
Please do not hesitate to contact your nearest GEODIS representative, in case of any concerns or further questions.
Your sincerely,
GEODIS Global Ocean Freight Management
