Rescue in Thailand: GEODIS’ teams supporting the effort

Today, GEODIS teams have gone the extra-mile to support a customer faced with the challenge of delivering extra pumping capacity to the rescue teams at the cave in Thailand where 12 boys and their coach have been trapped.

After being contacted by its customer to urgently get emergency equipment from the US to Thailand, GEODIS’ teams have come together to quickly respond, follow through the request – even delaying a flight to make it possible -, and duly tracked the shipment overnight.

After the landing, the Thai team have moved the consignment through customs, working with the US Embassy to deliver these materials on time to the U-Tapao Naval base, where it is staged for potential deployment.

The operation has taken hours. The customer, very impressed by GEODIS quick response, wanted to thanks the teams: “Great teamwork and together, we have achieved our goal.”
