Driving CSR Performance

At GEODIS, we drive Corporate Social Responsibility performance from the perspective of continuous improvement. We demonstrate this approach in a variety of ways.


Measuring performance key indicators

We evaluate performance in areas such as professional equality, the integration of disabled persons and CO₂ emissions monthly. Since 2008, we have been conducting annual CSR reporting that monitors on-site indicators (certifications, energy and water consumption, waste management) on a worldwide level for our vehicle fleet and even social data.

Surveys with CSR performance content

Each year, we also carry out two satisfaction surveys with clients and employees. Several questions in these surveys are devoted to GEODIS’ CSR strategy, particularly in terms of the way our employees and clients perceive it.

External CSR performance benchmarks

Finally, our CSR performance is evaluated through external benchmarks: scores from non-financial assessments (EcoVadis and CDP in particular); ISO certifications awarded to GEODIS sites; and evaluations in accordance with the GEEIS label to promote professional equality and diversity.
