Serving people by delivering their goods all around the world with innovative, sustainable and ethical logistics.

As a leading player in the transportation and logistics industry, we deliver goods that are essential to prosperity, regional development and the daily lives of people worldwide.

We support our customers in the pursuit of their mission, while addressing the major challenges of our time – all thanks to our dedicated teams and their unwavering commitment to excellence.

…with our logistics expertise that is:

Innovative

We constantly devise better ways of connecting and doing business to provide innovative, end-to-end logistics services and solutions, aligned with changing needs and practices.

Sustainable

The very nature of our business compels us to take decisive measures to reduce the impact of our operations. Environmental issues remain paramount at all times, as we strive toward our goal of offering logistics services that are fully sustainable.

Ethical

Our people are our greatest asset. We are fully committed to providing them with a safe,

caring and positive work environment. The relationships we build with our teams – but

also with our customers and partners – are firmly anchored in the fundamental principles

of trust and respect.

A collective project

The definition of GEODIS' purpose has been a collective effort. It was initiated within the Executive Committee and then co-created with all employees, notably through an internal consultation. It then received input from customers through feedback expressed in the annual customer satisfaction survey.

Our core values

Commitment

Commitment at GEODIS embraces customer service, employee safety and the climate challenge: it is a wide-ranging concept. As well as our internal focus on providing customers with the most appropriate services, every employee works to establish relationships of trust with all our stakeholders, so that we can make lasting commitments to them. Social issues are no less at the heart of the Group’s concerns. Three of the seven golden rules that form the basis of GEODIS’s operations relate to social responsibility: “Be a good citizen”, “Ensure people’s health, safety & security everywhere, at all times” and “Recruit, develop and retain quality people”.

Finally, GEODIS is fully committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and atmospheric pollutants, and to more economical use of resources. The Group is focused on developing environmentally-friendly solutions for its customers, such as low-carbon alternative transport, multimodal solutions and virtuous circular economy loops.

Innovation

Innovation contributes greatly to operational excellence, is a major source of value creation, and is a differentiating factor in the markets in which GEODIS operates. Whether it’s just-in-time delivery, supply chain visibility or social responsibility, the Group always strives to let its customers benefit from its capacity for innovation.

Robotization is a particular case in point. With 80 highly automated sites, the Group is a leader in the integration of the latest generations of robots. Our employees are constantly working to develop fast and seamless Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Plug & Play solutions, allowing easier connectivity with customers’ systems.

Trust

GEODIS strives to satisfy all its stakeholders and maintains an ongoing dialogue with them in determining and implementing priorities for progress. Through this approach, we are able to develop a climate of trust, build lasting relationships and create value. On the customer side, the Group endeavors to gain an accurate understanding of needs, design the best solutions, implement them consistently, monitor its operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

Mindful of the responsibilities it bears towards its stakeholders, GEODIS has established a program to ensure ethical behavior, compliance, respect for human rights and protection of sensitive data throughout its value chain.

Solidarity

Solidarity is not an empty word at GEODIS. Every year, the Group undertakes to provide logistical, financial or human support to disadvantaged populations or individuals in difficulty. We concentrate our efforts on two priorities: developing professional integration or reintegration for people who have been excluded from the job market, and encouraging commitment to the community within the Group.

As a result, GEODIS teams regularly take part in fundraising initiatives as well as donating their time, skills and material resources to those in need. The Group has also set up two solidarity funds to provide aid to employees going through difficult times.

Passion

The transport and logistics sector is largely unfamiliar to the general public. Yet it is a passion for all GEODIS employees, who invest all their energy and talent in developing innovative, sustainable solutions. Business growth, climate issues, new customer requirements, increasing the pace of flows: there is no shortage of challenges.

The Group is determined to develop the potential of all its employees by offering them rewarding and varied career paths. This is a way of nurturing the passion within the Group that enables everyone to flourish at GEODIS and give of their best.
