GEODIS receives the Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Accolade at TAPA’s Supply Chain Resilience & Sustainability Awards
The Award for Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence was conferred on GEODIS at the Supply Chain Resilience & Sustainability Awards 2024 held in Shanghai, China, organized by the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) APAC. The Awards celebrate and honor the outstanding achievements of global supply chain organizations. GEODIS was recognized for exemplifying excellence in supply chain resilience and sustainability and demonstrating a continuous commitment in corporate social responsibility and governance. Winners are determined by the TAPA APAC Board of Directors.
GEODIS’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy has been developed in line with one of the seven Golden Rules of its business excellence program, “Be a good citizen”. GEODIS is committed to providing its customers with sustainable logistics solutions addressing social, environmental and ethical issues. GEODIS is focused on developing low-carbon solutions, reducing the impact of its activities on the environment, continuously improving the health, safety and well-being of its employees, and acting ethically and responsibly in its relations with its partners.

In compliance with the Paris Agreement, GEODIS has committed to a 42% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from its fleet and buildings (scopes 1 and 2) and a 30% reduction in the carbon intensity of subcontracted transport (scope 3) by 2030, taking 2022 as the baseline year. On May 30th, 2024, Marie-Christine Lombard, CEO of GEODIS, signed a GEODIS Diversity Policy, marking GEODIS’ commitment to its employees to foster a work environment that values and respects all. GEODIS was also recently awarded the Logistics Sustainability Excellence Award from Lenovo for achieving a significant CO2 emission reduction through a fuel switch to Sustainable Marine Fuel (SMF). In addition, in the Asia Pacific region, GEODIS’ highly secured road network offers sustainable transport between Southeast Asia and China. To ensure global standards in end-to-end supply chain resilience, GEODIS has attained TAPA FSR certifications in 33 sites globally in 2023, compared to 19 sites in 2021.
