How can I indicate reservations on delivery ?

Despite the care we take to provide a high-quality service, imponderables linked to transport may lead the recipient to express reservations.

A reservation is a written note, made at the time of delivery, which formalises the existence of damage to goods or the receipt of an incomplete delivery.

These reservations must be made at the time of delivery and to be admissible, they must be :

  • written : recorded at the time of delivery on the consignment note or transport document.
  • accurate : similar to a photograph of the goods, they must clearly describe the damage to the goods (not just the packaging) with the reference or name of the parts concerned and, if possible, the number.
  • complete : items reported afterwards cannot be accepted.
