In Western Europe, we hold a high-class security hubs at airports, with dedicated TSR1 (Trucking Security Requirements) certified anti-hijack secured trucks, a bespoke building and security personnel to watch and escort your shipments all the time.
Safety & Security in the warehouse
GEODIS holds a worldwide TAPA FSR certified secured warehouse network with an integrated QSE (Quality, Safety and Environment) management system based on a PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) approach, allowing us to minimize picking and handling risks and hazards, as well as providing a painless strategy for our co-workers.
This integrated management system is common to the entire European perimeter of GEODIS activity and is currently being implemented outside Europe. We are able to deploy it on any new activity, or country.
Security wise, it features fire prevention systems, closed and restricted areas, security vaults, alarm systems both active and passive, access controls, security guards, warehouse Closed Circuit TV and 24/7 surveillance cameras.
Safety & Security during transport
At freight forwarding level, carrier compliance to security norms and devices like panic buttons are monitored and tested at various stages of the transport, end-to-end from the order phase to delivery, during loading and transport, for all modes: road, air, ocean and rail. Thanks to our solutions, follow up is also permanent via 24/7 command centers and web-based GPS tracking, up until last mile distribution.
