GEODIS was selected by Bombardier Transportation among 22 Logistics Service Providers to handle the transport involved in the Queensland Government’s New Generation Rollingstock (NGR) project. Under the 36-month contract, GEODIS will coordinate various inbound flows to supply Bombardier Transportation production site in Savli. The company is also carrying out sea transportation between India and Australia for the 450 coaches.
“Thanks to GEODIS’s rail expertise, and its ability to provide end-to-end service while bringing us complete visibility on our operations, we can entrust this large-scale project to a single service provider,” said Antoine Debore, NGR Project Manager in charge of Logistics, for Bombardier Transportation.
