PEKAES is continuously expanding the network of its mixed cargo connections and strives to improve its infrastructure as the choice of Głogów Małopolski as location of its new investment project shows. The change of the location of PEKAES’ Rzeszów Branch and the launch of a new distribution terminal in Głogów Małopolski are both elements of a long-term strategy that PEKAES is pursuing in order to expand its mixed cargo capabilities throughout Poland. The operator is also aiming to provide a level of service that is customized to the current needs of its customers.
The PEKAES terminal in Głogów Małopolski is located in the vicinity of an interchange connecting the A4 motorway with the National Road No. 9 (Warsaw - Rzeszów), and close to an S19 expressway interchange (Lublin - Rzeszów). The fact that the facility is located only 6 kilometers away from the Rzeszów Jasionka Airport is another of its advantages. This specific location has been selected carefully, as the warehouse in Głogów Małopolski will play an important role in distributing shipments within the entire Podkarpacie region.
The current area of the distribution terminal amounts to 3,240 square meters. According to plans, it is expected to be increased to nearly 5,000 square meters. The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with a roof-covered, 16-meters wide loading/unloading ramp that may be accessed by vehicles from the ground level. The staff of the PEKAES regional branch have moved to a larger, modern facility offering 350 square meters of office and social space.
The new terminal, doubling up as the headquarters of the PEKAES Rzeszów Branch, is located at Strefowa 5A street in Głogów Małopolski.
