When and how will my customer be informed of the delivery slot ?
GEODIS provides an information path for recipients.
This service is chosen and activated by the sender of the goods and allows notifications to be sent to recipients by SMS or email.
The notifications include information about the delivery time, the scheduled delivery date and the estimated delivery slot.
The time of the driver’s visit is announced when the goods are sent out for delivery : you should expect a 2-hour window for Express deliveries and a 3-hour window for standard deliveries.
If necessary, one hour before the delivery, a notification is sent specifying a narrower time window for the driver’s arrival.
