Courier service

Courier services offer door-to-door collection, rapid transit and real-time tracking—faster and more secure than ordinary post and ideal for parcels that must arrive the same day or next day.

What is the difference between a courier and standard mail?

Couriers collect at the shipper’s doorstep, move freight through dedicated hubs and deliver against a signed proof-of-delivery; the postal service relies on fixed pick-up points and routing, with slower and less granular tracking.

How fast is same-day courier delivery?

In large metropolitan areas, delivery can occur in two hours for intra-city loops or within six to eight hours for distances up to roughly 250 km, provided the shipment meets the morning cut-off.

Is courier service insured by default?

Most couriers include limited carrier liability (e.g., 8.33 SDR/kg internationally). High-value items can be covered by optional “all-risk” ad-valorem insurance.

How are courier services managed end-to-end?

A comprehensive distribution and express network typically relies on more than 100 agencies, handling around 100 million parcels annually and operating thousands of daily delivery rounds. A cloud-based transportation management system (TMS) integrates parcel, pallet, and locker flows into a single platform, ensuring seamless coordination and visibility across the network. At the same time, the deployment of low-emission vehicles supports urban delivery operations and contributes to broader decarbonization objectives.
